I began working on my PhD before Diana (my first wife who eventually passed away) was diagnosed with cancer. Upon hearing her diagnosis and not knowing what the future might hold for her, I tried to withdraw from the program (I had completed most of my course work). The seminary would not hear of it and placed me on an inactive status. I re-entered the program a couple of years ago and recieved word a few days ago (email below) that the Final Draft of my Dissertation had been approved. I am so excited to have finished what I started. Can you say Dr. Harris (lol).
